Our family went for a weekend trip to Jasper to camp, do a little hiking, play in the Athabasca River with the dogs, and do a little bit of cliff diving at Horseshoe Lake. It is funny how trips like these seem so much harder to make time for and organize as we get older. I remember when I was younger, camping was an an eagerly awaited expectation, but now it feels like more of a privilege, that is starting to have a certain guilt associated with it; as it is time spent away from being what I have learned to call "productive." This misplaced guilt is something that will have to be quickly dispelled, and I think a good solution is more trips like these...
